Our modules
The product processes for the manufacture of PV generator components based on the base of the glass-film technology. It is the high quality of the laminate structure on the back and it closed the sealing edge. This guarantees an extremely long lifetime. This special laminate is produced according to the IEC specification No.61215 Ed.2. The production facility is ISO 9001 certified. Permanent controls guarantees a consistent quality of the products. Polycrystalline Modules
The most popular module is the polycrystalline module and has a shimmering surface of the cell structure. It is ideal for use in grid-connected systems. This module is stable, has installation-friendly dimensions and is powerful.

Monocrystalline Modules
As the name suggests, there is a cell from a single crystal: Given the exact same orientation of the crystal in one direction.The used process to produce PV generator modules is based on glass-film technology. Composite film is used for the rear side and the edges are sealed to ensure the high quality of the laminated assembly. This guarantees extremely high durability. This special laminate is manufactured in compliance with IEC specification no.61215 Ed.2. The production facility is ISO 9001 certified. Ongoing individual electrical, visual and mechanical product controls ensure consistent standards of quality. A special feature of GermanSolar modules is the design of the color powder-coated frames.

Thin-Film Modules
The module series is based on Amorphous silicon technology with high efficiency, high power and high voltage and is good for the use with grid- connected systems.
Now a amorphous thin-film modul of the manufacturer NexPower is available. This top product guarantees high investment returns by first class temperature, light and reflection behavior. Since early 2008, this amorphous standard modules in the performance class from 90Wp up to 100Wp is produced. The world's largest microchip manufacturer UMC gave its subsidiaries Nexpower know-how and technology advantage to produce this amorphous thin-film modules. The first fully automated production for thin film modules from NexPower was completed in a few months. The certification of the modules in accordance with IEC EN 61646-2 and IEC EN 61730-2 by the TÜV has already been completed.

- The module series NH-AX 100, based on amorphous silicon technology with high efficiency, high power output and high voltage, are particularly suitable for grid-connected systems.
- The outstanding light absorption and the low temperature coefficient are special characteristics of the thin-film modules. This resource-protective technology gets along with a layer thickness which is smaller around a factor 100 than with crystalline silicon.
